We believe only subject matter experts can recruit and place the best talent. We provide the best people because we've done the job ourselves.
Many Biopharma companies and CROs find that rates with traditional functional service provider (FSP) firms are on the rise. The cost of workforce continues its upward movement as the "war for talent" intensifies. Even so, traditional CRO FSPs maintain high revenue and margin expectations. PharmArray is different. We charge you lower fees while paying your consultant staff top of market, a combination that brings you greater stability and quality at lower cost.
Traditional FSPs will do anything to place any warm body with you in an ever-quest for maximized revenue, leaving you wasting your time interviewing poor quality candidates. We never "throw spaghetti at the wall" to see what sticks. Our reputation means too much to us. We fully vet each and every candidate we submit to you. In most cases, we already have extensive work history with our candidates. And if we can't find the perfect candidate, we'll tell you so rather than try to force a fit.
Laura Schonwalder
With 25 years of experience working in the clinical trial industry, Laura has worked in a multitude of large and small pharma and CRO environments. As such, she has accrued a wealth of knowledge of the biostatistics and data management landscapes. Her technical skills in statistical programming, data management, SAS® programming, and CDISC, combined with her functional management and leadership background allow PharmArray to identify and place the highest caliber staff with our clients.
Laura’s expertise provides additional benefit with respect to talent acquisition, as she takes a hands-on approach with PharmArray’s consultants and our clients regarding training, troubleshooting, and consulting arrangements.
From 1997 to 2016 Laura worked in Statistical Programming and Data Management positions at companies like GSK, Quintiles (now IQVIA), PPD, and more. In 2016 she joined Triangle Biostatistics (now Catalyst) as their first permanent employee, taking on the role of Director of Programming and eventually the role of Vice President of Biometrics Resource Solutions. In this role, she was integral in more than doubling of the FSP group (including programmers and data managers) while helping lead expansion into several new clients. She designed the SDTM training for one large client and regularly delivered training to all full-time programmers and contractors for that client.
